What schools qualify as proper education to be a Medical Biller and Coder?
Asked by Meegan
I'm going to attend Branford Hall Career Institute, where they say they helped create an exam to be a certified coder. Is this true? Will my education qualify to take this exam? Will my externship, education and certification solidify my chances to get a job in this field?

lets see.... i as well, am going to branford hall, for medical billing and coding. I'm not quite positive that they helped create that exam, but they will help you in anyway possible to pass it. My Branford hall in Albany NY, the teachers are absolutely amazing, and they have someone at the school to help place you at a job. Ive already got a job at a hospital in the area, and I don't graduate til July. well, Ive wrote enough. But I promise you'll love it there if it's anything like it is here in Albany.

talk to your advisor. some jobs are based on job skills -not just the formal education.
