What is the average salary for a recent college grad starting a job in marketing for a Casino?

my godmother's brother-in-law i s head of Marketing for Harrah's entertainment in Las Vegas and can possibly get me a job there . Any info about this career and starting salary would be helpful. Thanks

It depends, but generally speaking casinos do not pay very high salaries for skilled positions such as this one. I imagine the most you will make is $30k starting out. That's not bad though, since you will get experience and can make even more. What may be hard for you is that your friends your age may be making more money doing other things such as cocktailing or waitressing at first, but remember you are going to pay your dues and eventually you will skyrocket above them in terms of salary. I would ask for $30k; it could go up a few grand, or even down to $27,000, but you will eventually get raises and move up in the world, so take it and get experience.
