How hard is the USPS's Electronic Technician test (exam 932)?
Asked by Jokerz
I have experience in fixing weapons in the marines and I heard that they only hire vets for this position. Would that qualify me for the job?

Unless you were fixing the electronic componnents on the weapons, the test would be very difficult. It is only for Custodian, in the maintinance craft that is "restricted" to Veterans. You may be eligible for a 5 point Veterans Preference however. You mgiht be better off to take the test for Distribution Clerk, and then learn more about electronics. USPS does give In Service Exams from time to time for ET.
