About 10 to 11 dollars.. 9 dollars not that bad. You might get a raise later. K?

There are a number of different factors that will determine your wage. Where you are located: a job will typically pay higher in CA than in, say, TX because of cost of living. Is it a chain store: big chain stores like Wal-Mart, et al. have a set amount that they pay for various jobs within the store. This is typically calculated based on their marginal cost of labor (MCL) or maybe they get it from their marginal cost in general. What type of market is it in: A big city or rural area? Sometimes your wage will be a little bit higher if you work in a large city rather than a rural area, due to the increased amount of business. If it is a "mom and pop" shop expect not to get a dime above minimum wage ($5.85/hr). But, in any instance, I think maybe $6.50 to $7.00 would probably be a fair wage.
