How to become a nurse? USA (Ohio)?
Asked by mailaccount63
Can someone tell me the steps to becoming a nurse? What are these abbreviation: STNA LPN RN Medical Assistant What does this mean? Thanks!

A:
Best Answer:
LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse RN - Registered Nurse Medical Assistant - trained to complete basic medical procedures If you are looking for a career look for an RN program either a 2yr associate degree or 4 year bachelor degree. RNs make more than LPNs and can practice with more independence. If you are not sure if health care is for you than start as a CNA or MA before going to school. Good luck!
