Looking for a different career than what I am in.?
Asked by cactusajw
Presently I am a diesel mechanic, but do not want to do this anymore. Basicly it is destroying me. I want a career change, no specifics as to what. How do I find a different career? I am in a tough situation.

one thing the employer will look and ask you is why you want a career change and if u are still in the 20s, that's fine. but when u are 30s and above they will be more willing to get someone fresh from school or another in the same line. perhaps u may wish to advance your career in the same industry and take some related course. good luck. its good to call your ex-colleagues and see how they are doing before making a final decision.

The way out of the 'rat race' is to build your own business. You don't want to work for someone else, this is the way to go man. Building a brick and mortar business could cost you thousands and thousands of dollars. but there is a better way. If you know who Robery Kiyosaki is then you'll know that he recommends network marketing. http://youtube.com/watch?v=D3xBIJzGAgU I'm currently working from home, no boss, unlimited potential of my income AND I started with absolutely NO experience! Good luck to you!
