Anything is possible. don't gloat on the details, but have them handy, legible, and just the facts. Look into certification by the Operating Engineer's Union, or Associated General Contractors, plus any character references on work you've done since your convictions. Everybody can turn a new leaf, it's just that the road will be a little more uphill for you. Stick with it, be above board, and give attention to the details. No reason you couldn't make it. One suggestion: perhaps you should also enroll in some classes in a local college or community college, perhaps in finance, contracts, estimating, surveying, as this would add immensely to your ability to fill a need with the contractor.
