new part time job ideas for college student?
Asked by myke_valentine
I'm a college student, majoring in psychology who is halfway finished with his AA degree. I've been working at American Eagle for the last 9+ months and I'm now tired of it and looking for something new. I'd probably keep American Eagle as a second job and work there only one day a week.
I'm looking for ideas on a new part time job (i/e positions, companies, etc...) especially clerical position or at the very least someplace really relaxed, I get enough stresses from my current job and school as is.

You should try finding a job on campus. It's easy to get to and they are very flexible when it comes to needing time off for exams, papers, etc. A lot of my friends did this during school and it worked out really well for them. Sometimes you can even transition into a full-time position after graduation, to get some work experience.

Wait tables, i'm telling you. Find a fun place with alot of action, and wait tables. Pick the right place and you will make more money than most. I made so much loot working at a restaurant it was rediculous. On top of that, with you being a psychology major, you will learn different behaviors with people. Time flies on the job too.
