How to become a supervisor at starbucks?

Im a 23year old female currently living in las vegas and am interested in moving to the bay area of California next March to attend school to obtain my BA in becoming a paralegal.I would just like some pointers from managers,supervisors, or anyone with great advice on what can I do to become a supervisor within the next 12months so lets hear it folks.. Remember I will also be attending school while working.

As supervisor at starbucks will consume much of your time, you will not be able to concentrate on studies or devote the necessary time for studies . Why not think of other part time jobs please ?

Well, you have to start as a barista. Make sure you work really hard from the beginning to learn everything and keep a positive attitude. Be assertive, but nice. Maybe let your manager know that you are interested in becoming a shift supervisor evenutally, but don't be pushy. Don't ever just stand around, even when you're not busy...find something to clean or stock. Make connections with the customers...remember the regulars and what they drink. Show that you really care about your job. Recognize and reward the other partners for doing a good job. I know you'll be in school, but to be a supervisor you'll have to work more hours than the regular baristas, so make sure you have time for it..
