How hard is it to go from being a pharmacist aide/technician to becoming an actual pharmacist?

Do you have to be an aide/technician before becoming a pharmacist?

You have to go to school for that. It's expensive, but worth it. Also, when you're a pharmacist.. you have to go back to school every few years to keep up with the new medicines that are being created.

A:
You don't have to be a tech, just most do, to help in learning and to get a feel for the job. Pharmacist go to school for 5-6 years full time.
