What should i say at an interview for a bank teller?
Asked by carlos o
I have an I interview next monday with one bank, but i dont have any teller experience; i could say i have some experience working at my family bussines as a cashier in Colombia (where i am from) but i was like 13-16 when that happened, so i don't know if that is going to help me, please give me some advice on what should i talk about and what not! THANK YOU!

I work for a bank and what they will do is ask you scenario quesions. Some of the questions they will ask for example are: Name a time where you had to deal with a very angry customer and how you handeled the situation. Or, think of a time where you have disagreed with your manager and why. They basically ask you a whole bunch of questions like that as well as what type of experience you have yourself. They dont care too much whether you have banking experience or not because they will send you through training if they find potential in the answers that you provide to their scenario questions.
