When filling out a resume for a part-time job, is it okay to put under objectives that you want experience?

Im putting in for my first part time job and Im making a resume, and am just wondering if its okay to put you want to gain work experience in a certain position.

As a manager I can tell you it is a great idea! I think it says that you are willing to learn and that your excited about it. It shows that you know why you are applying for that position that you have reasoning behind your decision,not just that its available.

That is a GOOD idea, I read one that asked what they did on their other job that said-- be flippin burgers--- this person no way wanted a job.

The underlying principle for a resume' is to be honest. For a part time, non-career job, listing "would like to gain experience", would be fine. They may even be impressed that they could help you in a career. For more help with resume's, see the attached link.

Yes as at 14 they will not expect you to have 'much' work experience. Phrase it in a positive way eg I wish to consolidate and develop my existing knowledge and skills(be prepared to list these) in order to.... (state your goal(s). Remember goals should follow SMART specific, measurable, achievable, realistic time orientated. Best off.
