How do you get into the housing & commercial painting industry?

i have a tiny bit of experience and would love to be trained further and take up the career. any union or commercial/ housing painters?

The industry is dead right now. You have to wait for the real estate market to turn around. Lots of businesses are going under right now. I would suggest you read up on it. It is not exactly a science to deep a roller in paint and roll it on a wall or to put a gallon of paint in a tank and point a spray gun.

look in the yellow pages and start calling ur local painters to see if u can train

This is not my industry, but I found out about a really cool company, ipainthomes.com. I would suggest you start there.
When looking for a professional, NEVER just got the yellow pages. Get referrals in your local area.
