It's better you write CAT or some entrance test for Management Course (MBA). Once you finish your MBA, you can get a placed at a very top companies in Banking department. You can opt for HSBC. You also need to be thorough in SAP, TALLY and the like, which are required for Banking. Or the other way is, look out for job opportunities in any Banks and directly apply for it.

If you are into software consultancy service you can switch to a project which gives you exposure to Banking Services and you can take banking certification (likes the one from D&B internationally accepted) along with. This will provide you with initial exposure to banking industry and its standards and will provide you the opportunity to make your way upwards into Banking Domain to be a SME, Domain expert, Business analyst. You can opt for part time MBA to make this transition smoother. Alternatively, a full time executive MBA programme will expeditate this process.
