No experience?

I'd like to get an accounting clerk job while I'm still school and pursuing a BA. When I look at posted jobs for accounting clerks, pretty much all of them require 1-2 years or 3-5 years experience. I'm sincerely confused as to how to get an accounting clerk job without any experience. I'd like to get an accounting clerk certificate, but I don't think that would be enough. Does anyone know if it's possible to get this type of job without years of experience? Thanks :)

I actually have my bachelor's in accounting, and I can't find a job at all. The economy is really bad right now!
