Will striping while in nursing school prevent a female from getting a job as a nurse when she finishes school?
Asked by steven k
Will this show up on her background check?

A:
Best Answer:
depends on what she is striping walls, lines on the road................. oh, stripping.... NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

A:
Stripping? No It will not show up on your background check..If ANYTHING..It could possibly show up on your credit report as one of your employers but its not likely!! Only one of my jobs showed up on my credit report. Being a stripper is not a crime.......That will not stop you from being a nurse.

A:
It could. Companies hire "At Will". They can deny employment for this. Of course, they won't say this but, all HR professionals know what your past is.

A:
Of course not, it's not illegal to be a stripper.

How would they know unless you told them? It wouldn't show up on a background check. It might on a credit check as an employer but even if the name of the company made it obvious that it was a strip club, how would they know you were a stripper? You could have been a bartender or waitress or did their accounting for all anyone knows.
