It really depends on your skills and experience. I work in the clerical area for a non-profit organisation and I get $21.36 per hour for a Clerk 4-1 and this is in South Australia.
I don't have a certificate but I do have on the job experience as I love what I am doing.
I hope this helps

When you first start out, I think it's about $18 per hour for a job like a receptionist. It would depend on who you work for, though. Some may be more and some less, but I think $18 is about right for when you begin those jobs.

Gee, i dont really know, but looking at these answers i'm starting to feel like i'm getting ripped off in my job as a receptionist! I do so much ore than the basic duties too!
I'm only getting paid $15 an hour.
Though i have no certificates or anything beyond my high school one, so that may make a difference

I think it varies greatly.....i work for a huge supermarket chain and our admin girls get 19 an hour but i hear it is alot more in a smaller business up to 25 an hour so i am assuming 21ish is an average:)
