A patient care associate trains longer than a CNA
It really depends on the institution you take the course at. But I am currently taking CNA courses and they're 90 hours...The PCA courses are 120 hours..it could differ.Patient care associates learn acute care and also how to draw blood, CNA's dont. Its not reall a big difference. But If I were You I'd go for Patient care associate if its certified...because you learn a ittle bit more. More skills=Better pay.
