What is the difference between a Patient Care Associate (Assistant) and a Certified Nurse Assistant?

You don't need to be a "Medical professional" To answer this question. A patient care associate trains longer than a CNA It really depends on the institution you take the course at. But I am currently taking CNA courses and they're 90 hours...The PCA courses are 120 hours..it could differ.Patient care associates learn acute care and also how to draw blood, CNA's dont.Its not reall a big difference.But If I were You I'd go for Patient care associate if its certified...because you learn a ittle bit more. More skills=Better pay.
