What private sector job options are out there for public sector attorney with a heart and desire to serve?
Asked by Could Be
I love serving the public and being an attorney. I have been in private practice for over three years, and think my resume reads as stale or not up-to-speed. How can I market myself to get back in to public sector legal work? Or market my skills as transferable to the private sector? Thanks for any input.

There are many options. Attorney general and city/county council offices both use attorneys. There is also the possibility of hearings officers in a number of fields. If you have any employment law experience, that's in your favor.

I worked for the state as a civil servant so I can relate. But think of this. Can you guarantee you wont be in this same situation in another three years? My point is this; stop working to make someone Else's dreams come true. When will you begin to work on your life goals. Not if you work for someone else. My business is 100% portable and profitable. Take a moment to see if this is right for you. I still help people. Only now I Assist people to become truely financially free working from home, the beach or anywhere. www.guidedenergy.org
