What cities has many job opportunities, also is cheap to live and is considered safe?

I have experience in sales management, customer service, automotive sales, story writing, hotel and resort hospitality, and management skills. 8-10 years of experience. I currently live in Maryland and in need of a new start. I'm 25yrs old.

I would suggest Austin TX. Its a great city for all you listed . I lived there for 5yrs and moved and to this day regret it.

Ann Arbor, Michigan. Excellent people, reasonably low crime. Housing is cheap now. The only thing that's real bad is the winter weather.
