I'm an unarmed security officer and like my current job, but I also want to get a 2nd job as an armed guard?

I'm just wondering if I could get a 2nd security job? Will I get fired from my current job for getting a job with another Security provider? Thanks

You need to find out if your company has any policy regarding moonlighting. Most security companies have a policy against it since they do not want there guards falling asleep on the job. This doesn't mean that many still don't get a second job and just never tell the employer about it.
