How much does a blackjack dealer make? Part-time?

I am looking at taking a 3 week course to become a blackjack dealer. This would be a part-time job for me. The course costs 600 dollars. Would this be worth it? How much can you make and is the job in demand? I live in a suburban area with a couple of casinos in the area outside of Toronto.
