what does it mean when a warehouse hiring center says?

"we will select our best qualified candidates" to attend orientation. This is a production, maching operator position. Does it mean that if you have no experience in production or machine operating, that you might not be selected?? What if you at least have general warehouse experience??

"best qualified" can mean any number of things, from experience, to team skills, people skills, etc etc. i doesn't necessarily have anything to do with qualifications. as such. thats basically the disclaimer. a flash way of writing "we will hire the person we think is best". i'd say you'd have a good chance. thats because no experience = lower pay, and businesses are always looking to get something for less!

it basically comes down to what kind of experience the rest of the applicants have
