What can I do to prepare to become a RN in labor and delivery?
Asked by Kat S
Is there any special classes I can/should/have to take in order to become a registered nurse in labor and delivery?

There are no special classes to take other than those that are required for nursing school. Chances are that you would have to do some time on a medical/surgical floor straight out of school, however, when an opening becomes available, put your name in. All of the additional training and certifications that you need will be provided once you are working on that unit Good Luck!

hmm. college would be a good start. if youre in college youd need to be a nurse and stuff like that. if youre in high school you still got time to look it up. idk EXACTLY what you need. but probly an anatomy class, or gross anatomy...and a nursing degree for sure.
