How to prepare for starting online school at home?

I am taking Medical Transcription online program from CareerStep Institue. I am starting very soon, but I need to know how to prapare myself at home. I know that I need to be very displined to study on my own. But what should I do to prepare myself. I have a little office/library room at home, but its mostly my husband's stuff. What do I need to prepare before I start. Thank you

Number one thing you HAVE to make sure you do your work. Just make sure you have a place to study thats quiet and a decent desk/computer. Theres nothing special needed to get an education. . .

Make it a comfortable environment for you to do your schooling in, and talk to your family about being sure you are not disturbed while you are working. They'll thank you in the long run. Discipline is right, so make sure you are open-minded and excited about this. After all, it's the beginning of the rest of your life!

make a schedule for when you will be doing your homework. make sure your family know not to disrupt you at those times. oh and stick to the schedule.
