Probably. It's a crap job, where you get low pay and are likely to work hard for it and depending on what the manager is like you will probably be treated badly. Also a lot of young people do seasonal work in those kind of places and are likely to leave to go to college or whatever. Pubs are easy to get jobs in too. Most will need someone if you just go in and ask.

Places with high turnover of staff shows what the company is actually like to work for.
If staff are constantly leaving it doen't make a good impression of what the company is like.

Right - great logic - you can easily get a job there because it is so bad that everyone leaves. Is it helpful to know you can easily get a job you will leave because it is so bad?

it's a good place to start as a teenager or a student looking for a bit of cash...but with so many people going for the job it's actualy a smaller chance than getting it than what you would think it would be...but yer its a good place for experience in that line of work

Yes! The reason why their staff leave is because they are over worked and under paid.

Fast food has a high turnover rate because it is hard work and not everyone is suited to food service.
Give it a try! You might like it! And if you hate it, you'll know to stay out of the kitchen!
Good Luck!
