How much do retailer pay a sales associate?

I'm applying for a part time job at Victoria Secret (I have worked there 8 years ago, got paid $7/hr) I was wondering how much the associates get paid these days and how much I should request per hour on application. Thanks!

depends on your product types... Some places pay $9 - 12 per hour but their products are harder to sell - high end stuff... Others are less ($6-8) but thier stuff are easier to sell... Yeah so it depends...
