My conviction was in 2002 , completed treatment 2003, end probation 2008 and have applied for pardon and had rights reinstated. I have a clean MVR.

I would agree with Randy...it has been a few years and you received treatment for it. As long as you are no longer using and your MVR is completely clear you should be able to find employment. I would be completely honest with any future employers and explain to them that you made a mistake, received help, you have learned from it, and you have no intention of ever falling back into that situation again. I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on staying clean.

You may be able to get a job. Going to be tough. Be honest and up front with employer. Someone may be willing to give you a break. If they do make sure you do a good job for them.

I used to know truckers, and I know a lot of low-lifes who they let drive, and even manage. I'm sure a drug felony six years ago wouldn't be too hard to find a job trucking with. Besides any moron can (and usually does) end up being a truck driver. That's not to imply anything about you, as I knew some intelligent people who drove, and just by you're typing, you're probably one of them. You'll do fine.
