i have an associates in arts dregree from my community college, no secretarial experience?

and i know a lawyer who wants me to be his secretary. how much, "at minimum" and max should i be getting paid? how often, and what are the procedures. is there anything i should know?

Pay rate is determined by your location and your experience. If the lawyer understands that you will be learning on the job, then you would fall on the lower end of the pay scale. If you are able catch on and learn quickly, you can re-negotiate the terms with him at a later date.
