Steve
Is a plumbing license specific to each individual state?
Asked by Steve
I have been working for a construction company, installing plumbing into newly built houses for 2 years now. I was under the impression that after two years experience, one could take an exam to obtain a plumbing license. Does the license give you the ability to plumb only within the state in which the license was obtained?

Best Answer:
Yes you are only licensed in the state you tested for unless your state has a reciprocy agreement with another state
