What types of sales jobs give you the preferred sales experience that drug companies look for?

Please give me examples of some jobs. The only sales experience I have is selling cosmetics, does this apply? I also have 2 years experience working in a pharmacy and I will graduate with a degree in Kinesiology soon. My plan is to apply as soon as I graduate. If anyone has advice or suggestions please respond.
P.S. please list specific types of sales jobs that are good experience.

Sorry to hear your frustration, but it's true that pharma companies require at least 2 years of successful business-to-business sales experience. By "successful", they mean that they would like to see any documentation (authentic) to prove that you are actually good at selling your product.
Unfortunately, in the eyes of the pharma industry, insurance sales is considered direct-to-consumer sales, not business-to-business. Other examples of sales that are categorized as such are retail sales, real estate, Mary Kay, Tupperware and AVON. No matter how excellent you were/are in any of these, it is almost always excluded as viable b2b sales experience. Good examples of b2b sales are Xerox, ADP, Enterprise Rent-A-Car (corporate sales), Coca-Cola, etc.

Pharmaceutical sales is great, and good money. Any type of Outside Sales would be good experience, like going to places to sell stuff.

Here is something they don't teach you in college. The real world aint what they say it is in textbooks.
Look at Pharmaceutical reps out there. They all have 2 things in commone. They look good and they have good personalities.
