Can you help me with a question relating to CNC Machines?

I lost my job recently due to economic downturn. I was working with CNC Machines. I would like to continue in that line of work. I got a call about a job from a recruitment agency but they didn't continue with an application to their client due to my lack of a specific type of experience. They wanted someone who had a knowlege of FANUC based cnc machines. What is FANUC and how can I find out more information about it?
