How to make a carrer change without die?

Hello, I want to make a career change; I have more than 1 year trying but without any result. I studied Mechanical Engineer and mostly my experience is as a Design Engineer, I have almost 3 years as a Mechanical Design Engineer. I want to move into something like business and administration area, I’ve been trying something not so different from my background like Project Engineer, Product Engineer or Program Manager, but until now nobody want to give a an opportunity because I don’t have experience and studies, by the way I am studying and MBA (I am in the half of the MBA) but it is not enough, to make things even worst I am not working now, my boss fired 1 year ago me because I told him that I didn’t like my job and until now I’ve looking but I think its impossible. Please, help me, give me some advice, I am not from the states, but I live in a country that have several American companies, actually I live in Mexico, in the border with US and my hometown has a big industrial developmen Please, I really need advice!
