Work at a daycare and have underage kids working there. Where do i call to report them?
Asked by melissa D
The owners of my daycare job allow their 15 an 13 year old kids to get paid for alomost nothing. They clock them in at random times just so they can have a little money. You have to be 18 in order to work at the daycare and to take care of the kids.

I understand what you are saying. Daycares are regulated and you must be of a certain age to obtain employment. Find out who regulates the daycares for your state and area. A call to the courthouse or city hall may help you get started

I don't see the problem here. 13 & 15 is not underage, and if the owners get them to help out, I would think that's completely fine. ...

if they help out without doing any hands on child care it could be OK, but if my daycare was using kids that young to actually do any hands on care of my 4 year old I would report them to Social services or the state licensing board where they got licensed
