Does Best Buy hire Full-Time or just Part-Time?

I really need full-time...but I need 'a job' of any type at the current time, since I'm unemployed. I don't want to put full-time and get my application skipped over, if they only hire part-time sales associates and merchandisers. Do they?
Is there any hope to start out as a Part-Time associate and work into a Full-Time position there, as a low-level manager of some type?

Most companies like Best Buy or something simliar will not hire Full-Time because they would have to pay benefits.
(You are required to pay benefits on anything over 35 hours I think.)
