What kind of jobs are available that just require a college degree in anything?

I am going to be relocating to Florida in a few months to either the Tampa metro area or to the Miami metro area and I am looking for employment. I have a bachelors degree in Physical Education with a minor in Community Health Promotion and a Masters in Athletic Coaching with a certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. The problem is there aren't a lot of jobs available in this type of work right now and I am looking for something that just requires a college degree. Does anyone have any suggestions to what I might be able to apply for?

You might look at health care clinics or hospitals in the area, as many offer outreach health services. Also check sales positions at medical supply stores--sometimes they can pay quite well if you have ongoing accounts. If there is a teacher shortage, you might be able to teach science where they also need coaches (try public and private).

Besides private health clinics working with out-patients, you should check out elder care facilities who are looking for your kind of background. You are also well qualified to work at private gyms. Good luck!

Don't worry about applying to a job that is specific to your area of expertise. Employers just want to see that you've completed a college degree since it shows that you are able to complete a four year project. Look at companies in the area you want to work and just start sending your resume out to whatever interests you. You'd be surprised how many people end up in careers that don't relate at all to their college degrees.

clothing retail. Many management postions are available for those with a college degree whether you have experience or not in the feild. If you go for it, expect a little tention in the beginning from those that have the experience but got passed on the new title.
