like i said i am 40 south central kentucky with a wide variety of interests. I have many job qualifications and am looing for a new course in life. relocating is an option. i am a hard worker and easy to get along with. i have skills that range from office to construction. I was in the army as a blackhawk crew chief and in the guard as a nuclear biological and chemical specialist so i have skills in aviation and chemistry as well. i was raised on a third generation dairy farm here in kentucky which gives me animal skills. I enjoy volleyball riding motorcycles and spending time with my daughter. I do not have a resume posted anywhere as of yet due to my many job changes through life.

Put your tax dollars to work and find a one stop center near you - they will help you define your target, write your resume etc and it doesnt cost you a thing.
If you are laid off they also might be able to get you training dollars to take classes to become re-employed at no cost to you as well!

i think one option for you to consider is moving to the Mississippi coast since a lot of construction is going on, but you should obviously do more research than just taking my work for it.

Spruce up the resume and start networking.
You should have 2 resumes, one chronological and one functional. Use the functional resume for networking.
Have you looked in newspapers and online to see what jobs are available?

Since you say you're willing to relocate, check out some of the on-line job search sites - MonsterJobs, etc. Put together a resume and get it posted asap! With all of your experience, I'd think you could find a job fairly quickly.
Other option is to go to college either for a BA, if you don't have one, or a MA. There's funding for either, esp. since you're a vet.

I relocated to Yellowstone National Park, and worked there twice. I have 3 seasons with them. The pay isn't great but it depends on your job skills. You live in a dorm and room and board is taken out of your paycheck, so you don't miss that. It's absolutely beautiful there. If you like warmer weather, try the Everglades or the Grand Canyon. It's worth checking out. Also there are alot of companies now that prefer to hire us older people. Keep checking, good luck.

Hi Wesley, as you continue your search for a new job, why not going parallel and start to learn how to make money online. You can still do this part time even if you do have a new job. Acquire this knowledge through lots of research.
Wish you success.
