Asked by hockeyplayer
I've been looking into a few career choices, but I don't want to be stuck in a job that doesn't offer decent wages. If anyone could should some light on what a mechanical engineer would make in a year it would be much appreciated

I graduated university five years ago and started out making 24000 pounds. That was in the petroleum industry, I was based in Aberdeen. You can make a lot of money in oil and gas as an engineer.
