If I go temping should I list on my resume that I have an associate's degree? Could I get more office jobs?
Asked by jaime
I was thinking of going temping once I completed my Associate's Degree. Would I be placed in office/clerical jobs if I listed it? Its an Associate Degree in General Studies. If that helps. Thanks in advance.

ABSOLUTELY. good luck .. this is a crappy market for admin jobs. I have no degree but I know it would help.

A:
On a resume, you always disclose your degrees. You will get clerical jobs if you have the skills required. MS Office is a good thing to know.

Put the education experience down on the resume, and if your GPA was over 3.5, list that as well. Any experience you have in that field will also be highly beneficial, so whatever you have done that deals with admin work, make sure to put it on the resume.
