Thomas B
What is the difference between a Boss, manager, and supervisor?
Asked by Thomas B
I'm 16 years old almost 17 looking for my first job. I don't know anything about a boss or manager or supervisor. Who do I ask if I need help? Am I allowed to do that? Am I supposed to ask my supervisor? Please explain to me! I'm really slow! LOL

Best Answer:
A supervisor/manager will be your boss and the manager is the supervisors boss. If you need help with anything I would first speak to the supervisor and if they cannot help you then ask your manager.

A:
A boss is (the owner, manager, supervisor, crew cheif or whatever the job title is) Their are different levels of bosses. For example...thier might be an owner if it is a small business There might be a general manager, a department manager, assistant manager...then supervisor, crew cheif...or possibly other titles. Depending on your situation, you may talk to your immediate supervisor...or you might go higher up...when in doubt ...ask your immediate supervisor or whomever is on duty in the supervising/boss position at the time.
