Please help with resume...??? Writing husband's resume!!!?
Asked by kerri_lynn01
I am writing a resume for my husband. He is a mason. He has 9 years experience but under work experience I am trying to focus on more than a regular job description. I need help with word use. I want to focus on accomplishments but he is a mason. He lays brick and block. That's all I can think of for wording it. How can I make it sound better and more glamourous? I need more than one example because there are 3 different masonry jobs listed. Thanks in advance!!

When writing a resume no matter what type of past experience one has you always want to put in accomplishments and what you can do for the new prospective employer or what they would be interested in. In some cases you may have to have two separate resumes. An example would be one for slanting towards home building, and another for commercial work. Don't use a lot of fluff. Those reviewing the resume do not have time for it and may not read it. Any other suggestions I would have to see the resume or work history outline. I give how to write a resume free teleclass from time to time, and offer as one my services a resume review and re-write if your interested. Good luck.
