Since the airline industry is cutting back on personal and the buying of planes, getting a job will be difficult for the next 5 years. The airline industry has always fluctuated this way. The majority of airline pilots are former Air Force.they have the necessary hours flying. Mechanics jobs are being outsourced to different countries. Good luck but maybe look into another field.
