Career Questions and Answers
High school Science Teacher, CRNA, or Anesthesiologist?
Asked by ivegotquestions_uvegotanswers
I am a recent high school graduate and I am having a bit of trouble making a decision on which career path that I want to pursue. I have it narrowed down to either a high school science teacher, a CRNA (certified registered nurse anesthetist), or an Anesthesiologist. I need help determining the pros and cons of each career path. Thanks in advance for all of your help!! =]

Best Answer:
1) High School Science Teacher - PROS: Summer vacation. Ability to help children. Set times for classes and you can take breaks throughout the day. / CONS: Not too much pay. Kids can be cruel.
2) CRNA - PROS: Pay is good. Get most of the perks of an anesthesiologist except you won't be fully in charge of any mess ups.
3) Anesthesiologist - PROS: GREAT pay! Exciting job. / CONS: One mess up could cost a life. You can get sued for the littlest mistake. Times are really everywhere, because you could be needed in the dead of night or bright and early.
