How do you become a bookkeeper?
Asked by chris n
Where do you go? And, is it difficult? Also, how much do they make? Do you need a degree in accounting to become a bookkeeper? Or, is there a program set up with just bookkeeping? Accounting has to do with dealing with financial statements and the such whereas a bookkeeper does not deal with them, right?

Best Answer:
Get a degree in accounting!

You have to take courses in bookkeeping. Try your local community college. It would be a business course. If you want to make money, you can continue studying to become a CPA, a certified public accountant. They make good money.
