How to get a job as software engineer at NASA?
Asked by aabbcc
I am doing my under graduate course in Information Technology in India. Is U.G. enough for a job as software engineer at NASA or shold I have completed P.G.? Should I be really good at college grades/marks to join NASA? How should I try for NASA? Approximately how many software engineers do NASA recruit yearly?

Most of the software engineering is done by subcontractors. try applying places like Lockheed Martin and Boeing, not just through NASA. You'll be doing NASA work, but not work onsite. The real problem is you are not an American citizen. There are many documents that cannot be viewed by foreign persons, so I hate to tell you- but don't get your hopes up.

NASA? I believe you need lots of work experience... It's not that easy. You will need at least a masters in computer science and ni a specific section, such as artificial intelligence or programming or software engineering. You grades and marks should be more than excellent if you want to work for NASA.
