I have an interview today for a hotel front desk?
Asked by pinkcj99
I have an interview today for a hotel front desk attendant. Its not a really fancy hotel, Extended Stay America...And I have NO idea what to wear. I have nice clothes of course...and my mom suggested a suit. But that seems a little over the top!?! Please help...any suggestion is welcome (expect going nakey. lol)

The suit, absolutely. Extended Stay is a business, and they expect interviewees to be in suits. And if you have a suit on and the other person doesn't, guess who gets the job? Also wear your smile. Working the front desk means facing the public, and they will want to see that you'll be a pleasant person and a good representative for them. Good luck!

A:
You always wear a suit to show you care enough to dress appropriately!

Wear a dress,or a suit always.Dont matter if its fancy or not ,its first impression in an interview.

I work at the front desk too, if you're going for an interview wear your best no matter what. Once you get the job it's a lot more casual. The best thing is to make a good first impression. Also at our hotel people who are dressed up just to turn in an application get special notice.

Well make it simple but appropriate like a white collared long sleeve rolled neatly til the elbows, black slacks and black shoes will do. Add some accessories like big necklace but dnt make it over accesorized because the interviewer might be distracted with your accessories

a nice skirt and blouse make sure your hair is pulled back looking neat and put together is the most important thing.
