Physical therapy technician isn't typically something someone makes a career out of. Very few full time positions exist, and when they do, they seldom pay more than a few dollars over minimum wage. The bls lists their average salary around $17,000 a year. It's a fine job for someone who wants to become a physical therapy assistant or physical therapist...in fact, that's who holds most of those positions...hopeful PTA and PT students. If money for education is an issue, there are several associate degree level programs that can help you earn a decent living such as a radiology technician, ultrasound technician or physical therapy assistant.
I am a PT
