Career Questions and Answers

whatever
Should I apply for this job, even though I am not quite qualified for the job?
Asked by whatever
I want to be a paraprofessional (teacher's aide), I have a bachelors degree in science and may in the future want to get my masters in teaching. There is a job opening at a school but they want someone with one year of experience working with or training to work with disabled children. I have never worked with disabled children, but should I go for the job anyway? I don't know what to do it says that one year of experience is required

You can apply. It is possible that they cannot find anyone with one year of experience. You have nothing to lose, do you?
