What is the difference between an admin assistant and a ward clerk?
Asked by BusyBee
On the website the job title is stated as admin assistant. But when I downloaded the additional documents containing more information about that job, the title was changed to ward clerk. Is it still worth applying for?

Best Answer:
A 'ward clerk' may be another name for 'hospital unit clerk/coordinator' or 'unit secretary' within a hospital at the nursing unit desk. That kind of job is said to be somewhat stressful just fyi :) For more info on the job/career of health unit coordinator: http://www.nahuc.org For general career info on office: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search 'administrative assistants and secretaries' or such.

A:
Yes its still worth applying, raise it with them if you get to interview stage.
