We worked last saturday o.t. and then this week m-saturday, now they are saying we have to work tomorrow, sunday, but i have church, can they make me? Also they just yelled at all the clericals to go out to a door some on the trailer unloading and some of us scanning boxes, but can they make us do out of job description? can they make clerical to phsyical labor?

Best Answer:
i would have to read your job description -- it might have a statement concerning over time and most all job descriptions will have a statement "other duties as assigned"!!! the company could be legally entitled to what they are asking!!

A:
they can't in canada. talk to the agency. here, you can not be made to do anything but the job you were described.
